Paula became invested in homecare 18 years ago after seeing the lack of options available for her aging family. She spent her career advocating for her community to get the care they deserve. A mother of four, grandmother to two, Paula has a large, close knit family that keeps her busy and enjoying the world. Around the community she is an avid golfer, competitive curler and volunteer at local theatres. Executive Leadership

Mack Andrews

Mack Andrews
Mack is an engineer and serial founder, but at his core he's curious about how things work, and in homecare, why they so often don't. What drew him in was how badly the industry treats the people doing the work, and how that creates terrible care.
Time and again he met caregivers who wanted nothing more than to care for others and who consistently put their clients' needs above their own, only to be burnt out, disenfranchised, and reduced to a checklist by past employers. His answer is simple: let great caregivers do what they love.
That means building systems that make HomeFree the best caregiving job in the market, one that attracts and keeps the top 1% of caregivers and delivers the absolute best care.

Jeffrey Noble

Jeffrey Noble
Jeff is an entrepreneur whose winding path through high-end service, retail, and TV production taught him one thing above all: great experiences are built by people who are set up to succeed. A servant leader at heart, he loves developing people and giving them the tools to do their best work. What drew him to homecare was living the other side of it, learning firsthand how stressful managing care for a loved one can be for a family. He came to see the industry's problem as one of supply: there simply aren't enough caregiving jobs that put the caregiver at their heart, and families pay the price. His answer is to create as many good jobs as possible, because when caregivers thrive, families can finally stop carrying the weight alone.

Dr. Charles Wong, MD FCFP(EM)

Dr. Charles Wong, MD FCFP(EM)
Charles is Calgary-based emergency physician who has had a diverse career in academic medicine, medical education, and health systems leadership. He was driven towards healthcare entrepreneurship having seen too many patients and families reluctantly forced into facilities in his hospital-based work. When not driving forward the mission of keeping seniors thriving at home, he enjoys reading, travel, and exercise with his wife and two children.
